What we do
Brick is durable but mortar joints are not. We clean brick exteriors with a soft-wash that won't blow out the mortar or leave white efflorescence behind.
We start with a low-pressure soft-wash and biodegradable cleaning solution. Stubborn algae, mildew or organic stains get a longer dwell. We avoid acidic cleaners on brick unless absolutely necessary — they can etch the surface and discolor mortar.
If your home has painted brick, we treat it like painted stucco: test first, then soft-wash with the panel-safe approach.
